Our goal was always to build a rod that requires minimum effort yet delivers maximum output. A big advantage, apart from the fact that it’s just more fun to fish with, is that the design of the S1 rod helps when fighting fish as well, as it reduces the risk of pulling the fly out or breaking the tippet during headshakes, jumps, and quick direction changes.
For us to design rods offering maximum forgiveness and maximum top performance, we have used the latest materials and technology available, trying to combine the two into a perfect match to reach our desired goal. It took us years of experimenting and fine-tuning to get here and we are ecstatic to finally be able to offer them to fellow anglers around the world. Primarily designed for the bigger salmon rivers in Scandinavia, UK, and North America, this rod can handle it all. With its deep, fully progressive curve and seemingly endless power reserve this is not only a joy to cast but incredibly fun to fight fish.
As with all our rods this model is designed with the traveling angler in mind. It comes in 6 - pieces and fits most travel bags so you don’t have to worry about checking in a separate rod tube.
Choose between our pat.pend Hexa Grip handle and Balance Reel Seat, or our traditional premium cork handle and traditional uplock reel seat.
Our balanced reel seat offers you the chance to perfectly balance your rod by moving the reel further up or down depending on the weight of your reel and personal preference.
